Leeds & District ASA are running a Paul Hunter Charity Night in aid of Kirkwood Hospice. To many young anglers Paul Hunter was not just a top flight Snooker player, but a nice guy that gave his time to support Junior angling, and also present their prizes at various events.

It therefore comes as no surprise then, that Leeds Amalgamation, and the Hunter family, (several of which are anglers themselves), are keen to both honour his memory, and raise some funds for Kirkwood Hospice, where Paul spent his final days.

Leeds Amalgamation will therefore be holding an auction of gear and other prizes donated by the angling community, plus various turns who have also donated their time free of charge, as well as appearances by Paul’s dad, and other members of his family, and colleagues from the Snooker world, in order to raise funds for this worthy cause.

The event takes place on Thursday 18th January 2007 from 7pm @ Leeds Anglers Club.

Tickets will be on sale from early December from the Leeds Anglers Club.
